Three problems.
One platform.
Aigrade exists because the default state of education in India leaves most students behind — not for lack of effort, but because the tools available to them were never designed with their constraints in mind. We chose three specific failures to fix first.
Tutoring gives answers. It rarely builds skills.
Most coaching centres optimise for correct answers in the short term. Students get the solution, not the understanding. They stall the moment a question looks slightly different.
Elo-based adaptive difficulty
Every question attempt updates your ability rating. The system surfaces questions at the right challenge level — not too easy, not demoralising.
Spaced repetition revision queue
Topics you got wrong come back at increasing intervals, timed to when forgetting is most likely. You revise what actually needs it.
AI-generated study plans
After each session, your weak topics feed into a personalised next-step recommendation. Progress is visible and the path forward is never a guess.
Quality exam prep is out of reach for most students.
IELTS coaching at a reputable centre costs thousands per month. Band-score feedback requires a human examiner. Students from smaller towns or lower-income families simply don't get the same preparation — and the results show it.
AI writing evaluation with band scores
Submit any IELTS Task 1 or Task 2 and receive a band-score breakdown with specific feedback on lexical resource, coherence, and grammatical range — instantly.
AI speaking evaluation
Upload a speaking response and get pronunciation, fluency, and content feedback graded against IELTS band descriptors. No human examiner needed.
Tiered pricing with a working free tier
The free plan isn't a locked teaser. It has real daily limits on questions and AI calls so students can meaningfully evaluate the platform before spending anything.
Annual subscriptions force a financial bet before trust is earned.
Most EdTech platforms require an upfront annual commitment before a student has had a chance to feel whether the product actually helps them. That model transfers all the risk to the learner.
Free-first model
Every student starts on the free tier. No credit card, no trial countdown. The platform earns the upgrade by demonstrating value first.
Usage-based daily limits
Paid plans scale up daily question and AI call limits rather than gating entire features. Students get a real taste of the full experience before deciding.
Flexible plan duration
Short-duration plans let students subscribe around exam seasons rather than committing to a year they may not need.
Scope is a choice, not a gap.
There are real problems we see — coding skill gaps in graduates, college choice driven by referral fees, regional language instruction, ATS resume filtering — that Aigrade does not address today. We believe narrow and deep beats broad and shallow. We would rather solve three problems completely than gesture at nine.
Our current focus: English, Maths, and IELTS for school-age and 12+ learners across India, with a particular emphasis on students who previously had no access to quality exam preparation.
Be on the right side of the gap.
The platform is free to start. No credit card. Just set your level and let Aigrade do the rest.
